Step 01 · Start with a clear picture
Take inventory
Before we design anything, we find out what you have, what your space and budget call for, and what the simplest version of the finished system looks like.
We start by looking, not selling. Before we design a camera system, a room of smart control, or a venue’s AV, we want to see the space, the wiring, the screens already on the wall, and get a clear sense of budget and timeline.
So we look. We walk the site, open the racks, read the invoices, and log in to the consoles. We ask what each thing was bought to do and whether it is doing it. We check what your renewals actually entitle you to, because the tier you are paying for and the tier you are using are often not the same tier.
At the end you get a plain document: here is what you have, here is what it does, here is what it costs, here is what a small, well-built version of what you actually want looks like. Plenty of clients stop after this step and take it from there themselves. That is a fine outcome.
Typically one to three days on site, depending on how many locations and how long it has been since anyone documented anything.
